They're rather beefy. Don't have heads off right now, so I won't have an actual measurement anytime soon.

Did I happen to mention I have a spare eg33 sitting in the red car that got hit?

I have Brad working on the white SVX right now. If we can get her back on the road soon I'm going to take that spare motor and build it up.

yeah, I had a customer that I really wish had/would finish his project. Bugeye with a borg S475 and a sleeeved 3.8L EG. I really wish we had done that build my way. He came to me with the botched sleeve job already done, and OTS Eagle rods and Wiseco pistons.

I'll say this though, it taught me a valuable lesson 'Never take a box build'. Box build = someone shows up with parts in a box and says can you make this work?

I imagine it's still sitting on the pallet that I delivered it on.

I actually don't have any pics. Being I haven't done it on my car, I can't readily go snap any either, sorry.

However I'm really torn about tossing this engine into my bugeye for a quick break-in, so it may be coming...the bugeye internals are still about 8 weeks out.

I see you went with 8' T12s (HO?). You would actually be a lot better off with tandem 4' T8's. Lumen maintenance and cost of replacement with T12s is pretty poor. If you want lights that put out heat you could get T5 High bay fixtures but that would really suck in summer. They also put out too much light for that low of a ceiling (unless you're doing surgery) haha.

It wouldn't take much to heat that garage. You could probably use a space heater haha.

I hope to see some results for this thing soon. You are almost too much of a perfectionist to the point of constantly revising and never getting it done. I admire your skills and tenacity. Keep it up!

well it may be hard for you to see but they are dual 4' T8's

You seem to know way more about lighting than I do but I think it does well enough for me, especially when the garage door (white, metallic) is closed.

garage door is open in this pic, hence the eclipse of engine bay light.

As for heat, I have a space heater that does just fine.

Heheh, Looks like my garage... spare parts everywhere! I love it and would feel right at home there!

I can't wait until I finish my GC widebody build so I can finish the workbenches in my engine build/clean room.

Right now all of the parts that came off the GC so it could go to paint are sitting in my build room.

what you can't see are two ceiling height shelves to the left, the parts in the living room or the guest bedroom which is also a parts storage room

If you really want more light easily just replace those dinky incandescent's with some 65 watt CFL's.

http://www.elightsupply.com/earthbul...cent-4u65sw1b/

(I'm not talking about 65 watt equivalent, but actual 65 watt CFL's )

Project looks like it's coming along.

^^^That's not a bad idea Sean. I'll check and see if Home Depot or Lowes has some next time I'm up there.

yup and my kitchen currently has my Brighton's engine and bulkhead harnesses spread across the floor with dash out of the sitting in the corner. Just waiting on my new and correct Molex pins to arrive. But it won't be getting touched until next week. Leaving wed for PRI.

Actually it hasn't stopped. I just have the issue of customers come first and I've also been slowly getting this and the bugeye project done side by side.

I'll post some pics of the beginning of the cage work from a few weekends back.

I think the pocket light was the best of the two.
