Default parts for the 06 wrx tr???

Does anyone know where i can locate a hood scoop (oem or aftermarket) for the 06 wrx? I have looked everywhere with no luck. Even eBay is turning out to be a no go. I can find them in abundance for every other year. Is the 2006 just too new for the parts, or are the 02-05 "peanut eye" for some reason more desireable??

It did.... but I am going for a two tone look (blue car, black rims and black hood scoop and possible black shorty spoiler) when I sell the car, it would just be easier to swap back out the blue hood scoop for the one that I want to have painted... if I can ever find one.

I am guessing you have not seen one either... besides at the dealer??

you might want to throw up something in your local forum and see if anyone that has a FMIC is going to get rid of their hood scoop you might be able to get one that way,.

Did you call you're local Subaru Dealer!? They can order it for you... this is not rocket science.

Two real options....the Subaru dealer, or better yet www.subarugenuineparts.com

Or if you are going for a two tone look, and want a black hood scoop. I believe Seibon makes a carbon fiber hood scoop for there hoods. I'm NOT sure about fitment. But its a option none the less....

yes I did call, and yes 185.00 for an unpainted spoiler is an option. However, with all of the people that surf this site, I figured i could find a better option. thanks newb!
