Default Impreza interior

I know you can stuff a GD interior into old GC's but I was wondering if you can swap the wrx interior into the 05+ LGT? or at least swap the STI cluster into it? No dumb responses please just quick yes it's possible or no it's not thank much!!!! PS: LGT cluster isn't bad just prefer the STI

If you have enough money, you can do anything.
How's that for a dumb response?

I have money... that's not the problem... but if It's gonna be a PITA then I'll just suck it up and stick with the LGT gauges... Sarcasm is always welcome... thanks...anyone else?

doubtful on the interior pieces, like doorcards and dash. The seats...highly unlikely the rears will fit. The front seats may physically have the same bracketry, but not sure about the rest of the dimensions (I have an 03 wrx seats in the front of my BE).

STi cluster is possible as long as youre diligent with the wiring. I know someone who has an sti cluster in their older BD when he did a full STi swap.

thanks rougeben83! Yea wasn't too sure about the whole dash. Overall I like the legacy dash better but the STI cluster is wicked sick and would love to fit em' in the LGT.

Well, put it this way - it's not going to be a perfect fit, and it's going to be a PITA to deal with if you have to cut/trim/fab up a dashmount or any other kind of bracket.

i know that the GD/GG carpet won't fit into the BG legacy because it's too short. the seats do fit, but the front seats sit kind of high, and the rears are a it of a pain to fit in. the dash does work, but requires a bit of re-wiring to get everything working right.

this is all for the BG/BD legacy though, not sure about the newer ones.

Lol, yeah that's him. I've met him and seen his car personally, but I keep forgetting how to spell his sig correctly You can search his sig in this forum and see his car's transformation. Really a nice job.

Deadlydave has done some STi interior touches (like the blue carpet) and Sheepdog did a full STi Ver8 (I believe) conversion in his GC. They would be be good to ask about the process.

DeadlyDave has a BD though, the sedan has a shorter cabin for some reason. or at least that's the only reason i can think of for him to fit an STi carpet in, cause when i tried to fit a WRX carpet in my BG, it was like 4 inches too short in the back.

I'm pretty sure the Wagon cabin is the same, the wheelbase is the same. He could very well have done some hacking under the front seats to make it work - check out his writeup on SLi.

*flexes muscles*
It was a pain to get the rear to fit, but side-to-side, and front seats forward it was perfect. There's no way that would fit into a larger car than a BD/BG though. To put it in a BG/BK, you'd really just need to do the same stuff as the sedan, just need to find something to cover the cargo area. The cabin carpet piece ends at the front of the back seats.

I reccomend doing what mark said, and cutting the carpet under the front seats, then it'll fit the back great. I just slashed up the rear of my old carpet, and the sti carpet and kind of cob-jobbed it together. I may dye the grey carpet blue and use pink vinyl string to tie the pieces together. Of course, the car may be sold in a few days.

okay well yeah, if you're gonna cheat it with the knife, then it'll fit just fine.
