Default legacy outback caliper question

im wondering if the front calipers on a 97 outback limited are the same as a 1994 Legacy sport sedan. They look similar, two pot pistons. Im wondering as i have a set kicking around that i would love to use on my 97 outback if they are a improvement over the stock ones on now.

Also, are the rear rotors the same size on the outbacks as the sport sedan? I would like to swap my rear calipers as well as i happen to have a set of SS calipers from the same SS that are not being used as well.

Anyone know what the differences are between the SS brakes vs the outbacks in general?

Thanks!

pretty much nothing. the SS/GT/Outback/2.5RS brakes are all the same size.

at least that was the case on my 99 outback.

almost, i found the info i needed. The only difference is the rear calipers are wider on the SS to allow for a vented rear rotor. fronts are the same.
