Default 07' 2.5i N/A OBP - Various mods - Check it

Greetings everyone!

Had some free time tonight, so I thought I'd post up some temporary pictures of my semi-new 2.5i (4 months old) while I take some new shots tomorrow when it's actualy clean and I have my new custom painted tail lights installed (update: new pics of tails installed).

Update 9/5:
here's a video I uploaded: It's got my plates in it, but oh well, screw it. NOTE: The video cam I used has TERRIBLE sound quality recording. It sounds very high pitched, but in person: Lower bass 'rally-style' sound - I suppose is the best way to describe it.

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...47804848271646

(Note: I understand that it looks like a wannabe STi, and it is. An engine swap is something I'd consider when it's no longer under warranty)

New Pics 09/02/07

I might be wrong about this, but you said that you might be swapping to an STi motor when your warranty is up. Well with your new headers and COBB pulley, you might already have. SOA is super strict, so just keep that in mind.

Nice looking 2.5i, is your radiator shroud something you made yourself?

No kidding. CAI is next up on the list.. been trying to snag a decently priced one, but it looks I'm going to have to shel out the $300+ for a new injen or similair one. I'll have it in prior to the open-source tune.

Thanks. Main reason for not getting a turbo car being: insurance, higher purchase cost, and having literally learned to drive stick off the dealerships lot when I bought it.

Best price/performance place to look would be your local 'for sale' forum

Great looking 2.5i.

How much trouble was the lower grill instilation?

Wasn't too bad really, just a bit time consuming. I cut out all of the inside OEM plastic mesh... you can instead just plop it on top, but it looks much cleaner when you cut it out.

Oh, and i got my new custom tails installed.... oh god do they look sexy... pics soon to come!

no offense about swappin back parts but it is soooo easy to tell when a car has been modded dont try to fool them most mechanics work on their own cars to so you know

car looks good only thing to me is i think the front grill is to blank with nothing there

and i would not mess with that fabric spray paint unless you have some plan to get new seats if you screw em up

eitherway nice car id like to see the tails

Those are definitely not '05 STi Tails more like '06-'07. Very nice though, could have almost fooled me at a glance. Just need some Brembos now......
