I think you still have to get tem balanced. It just helps cure that "phenomena".

I think this is one of those things tire installers don't like to be "surprized" by when they are dismounting tires. Some of this stuff can be explosive and the spark from a tire machine can set them off. Might wanna look more into that.

This is the stupidest thing I have ever read in my entire life. Whoever wrote the article pretty much said its pointless. The got vibration and stuff at higher speeds.

If you can't afford to get your tires balanced you should have bought a Kia.

And if you meant buy a Kia to have enough money for balancing the rims...then that was kinda lame, pathetic and absurd. This is the kind of crap I'm talking about...people have nothing productive to say but just post garbage. |

I believe the point is, if you don't have enough money to balance your tires after buying a car, you should have bough a cheaper car.
It's a joke, son ![]() |

What's all this talk about not having money. Kevin was just talking about a handy product. Not about saving mo'... but about saving the hassle of needing to have your tires balanced periodically.

I find it amusing that in this thread I got nailed for saying something mindless (I agree, it was mindless) while Pat actually had something to say that was thoughtful!
And they are right, I meant to imply that if you can afford to drive a $18 - $22k car but can't afford wheel balancing you have a problem, not that Kia's have superior wheels! Here is why you don't put crap in your tires to balance your wheels: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" The little metal weights work fine and have done so for years, why mess with it?! ![]() Alex ![]() |

Ok...first off, let's get one thing straight...
Mike Smith: I AIN'T YOUR SON... So show some RESPECT!!! Second: Alex: I knew it was a flame that I threw at you and I apologize. I had a very bad day and to top it off, I received some disappointing news at work. So don't take offense....everybody in this forum pretty much knows I don't flame anyone unless they say something worthless and offend others. My bad.... ![]() We all family.... Now Mr. Smith...you need to step to the plate!!! ![]() |
