Hey Nasioc,

Finally got out to Lebanon Valley Dragway today for my first drag outting in just under a year. I appologize for not being able to display my time slip, my scanner is down.

Anyway,

74 degree temps, with 78% humidity
60' 1.700
1/4 12.47
E/T 109.8

Mods:
Greddy TBE
Fuel Pump
93 octane ecutek tune, 18psi, 292whp 295wtq (for everyday driving)

Just want to thank Jimmy and Dan of The Shop. I had 1 night to obtain a pump and exhaust and quickly do the installs so that Franz could get my tune in (I left The Shop with my tuned 07 around 315AM that night).

Can't wait for next time. My C16 Map makes 40 more whp and holds over 300 at redline

Kick ass man!! ... Congrats on the pass
The black 07 I tuned @ The shop went 12.4X @ 110.X with a 1.69 on the Pumpmap as well. Same mods + rails and injectors.
We are going back tomorrow with the c10 map... It made about 35 more whp and 60ftlbs.
Are you shifting 5th? I noticed that holding out 4th makes it nose over on the top side... Shifting 5th puts you further into the POWER BAND then the 04-06 did so it makes the car much better and smoother up top.

Definitely, the '07 reaches 116 mph in 4th, no need at all to shift to 5th in 1320 feet unless you're driving a Big Valley car...haha.

Junior,

Thank you for the compliments man, I really appreciate it. I think it was two weeks after I bought my 07 that you tuned the other black car. I saw your post at the office and I was in total awe. Congrats on that man. I work 6-7 days a week so its a rare occasion for me to get to the track. Hopefully sometime soon we can hit up Island dragway or Etown with both cars, or all The Shop cars for that matter.

Anyway, If your running Jimmy's car today, how about some 10's man

Lastly, interesting advice about shifting into fifth. With all the hype about holding forth in these cars, people havnt realized that shifting at 62-6500 RPM
would benefit them up top, also being that the 4th-5th shift in these cars is lightening fast (04-06 was a much "notchyer" shift).

Very nice results and especially for Lebanon Valley. I almost went myself on saturday but my car needs spark plugs. You could probably knock another tenth or two off your time by running at Etown...

Yes man.. 2 black 07s running 11s on the stock Turbo would be an awesome set of pics and vids to post. Let me or Jim know, im down to go.

As for the 5th gear shift.. you need it on the stock turbo.. The new gearing puts you further into 5th when you shift it.. If you shift it fast enough you will gain both top end and ET.. The car falls about 800-1000rpms on the shift, so right back into the powerband. With your tune a 5th gear shift will put you right back into the FUN stuff.. Just like you mention shifting 5th is BUTTER on the 07...

hey guys,

I have only gotten to the track once after this time and had many issues launching (which have been resolved). I trapped 110.8 in 75 degree weather with race gas but with near 2.0 60 ft's i was in the 12.7 range all day. It just sucks becuase I work alot and the last TWO opportunities I had to go to the track it rained Anyway, I have a road trip to take with the girlfriend this coming weekend down to Maryland then DC for a friends wedding. Im hoping she'll let me take a little detour on the way down that leads to Raceway Park down in NJ. I dont see why high 11's could not be acheived. I just need to get a little luck on my side and get a day thats sunny with temps 50 degrees or under. I think with cooler temps this car should trap low to mid 112's.
