Default DSpecs+Cusco rear camber plates fit?

this might be a dumb question, i did some searching but came up empty.

will rear cusco pillowball camber plates fit tokico d-specs?

cusco p/n 658 420 a

also these camber plates will fit an 04 sti?


ps. i checked the compatibility sticky and am still not sure, i'm retarded, sorry

Pretty sure the Cusco rear plates will only work with a full coilover setup. As in a replacement for COs with just rear pillowball setups.

Not positive though, just the only way I've seen them used.

you know i did find a decent amount of posts where wagon guys were running the front camber plates and the strut nut wouldn't fit inside the housing on the plate. i guess they come with a special nut that should fit inside the housing.

You will need a special nut to fit inside the ball on the camber plate for the Cusco rear plates with any other strut than Cusco Zero 2R's. I am getting a set made right now for mine.

could i simply grind off the lip that runs around the nut on the dspecs? or would that be dangerous, i read a thread where some guy did that on a lathe. thoughts please

Camber plates will not work with the DSpecs if you are using stock diameter springs. The rear cusco plates assume that you have a rear upper spring perch (for a coilover) and the stock diameter spring use the upper spring perch integrated with the stock type rear tophat.
