Got up at five and slapped a six pound brisket on the smoker at 6:30. Used a great dry rub, and did three smokings using mesquite. (I have an indirect heat smoker). The smoking was done around 10:30am. At 11, we threw two whole chickens on and kept the surface grill temp at around 225-240 until 4:30pm. Did an occasional mop on the brisket.
On my other grill, we did potatoes with vidalia onions in foil. Also some french bread with butter and garlic. Everything came out amazing. Fed about ten ppl. |
