Please reply....

I'm trying to find out what your local subaru dealers are offering in interest rates for their 2002 Cars..... Here's in Ottawa, I think the rate is 7.8% (not cheap).....

I heard near Bathurst (NB).... they are offering 1.8% interest rates on all subarus except the WRX.

Please post..... tks.

Robin

I got 6.8% in Lachute, but that was a special put out by Subaru Canada that ended in October (so I was told).

Not only was it difficult to find an OBS but deals on them were even harder to come by. My experience with Lachute was excellent however. It's too bad it's not closer or I would go there for my service too.

Cheers,

Funky

I got 6.95% in Moncton,NB for my RS. Never heard of any special rates in Bathurst, though. Why are you interested in this info may I ask?

Subies are somewhat hard to come by on the east coast. I wonder if Newfoundland has any.

I'm going into Trento Subaru on Monday for some service... I'll see what I can get you there.

You thinking of getting into a WRX? Too many scratches on your RS eh?

Beresford (near Bathurst) has a blue WRX for sale, they have it sitting in the lot for quite a few months now. They might be making a special to get rid of it.

That's the town.....Beresford.

One of our members (from Ottawa) was in Bathurst over the holidays to visit his family and mentioned when he went in at the local subie dealer they were offering great rates.....

One of my friends and his wife are looking at buying a TS wagon.... and with not much room to negociate, interest rates become important....

With a big difference in interest rates, you can save a lot in your monthly payment.

Default I bought

....in December and the Primus/Subaru financing was 6.8/60mo which is definitely better than I could swing at any of the banks at the time.

I heard it was valid until sometime in January/02.

I financed my 2000 RS back in October 2000 at 6.1% for 5 years/60 months. Sorry i dont have a clue what the rates are these days. All i know is if my mortgage rate keeps going down while the house is being built i will be laughing. I dont know if the rates for other loans are dropping like the mortgage ones though.

Robin,

The dealer is Beresford Subaru. (506)542-2108. The 1.8% is only on the Forester for 2 year financing. The TS Wagon is 6.8% 2-6yr financing. Sorry for getting your hopes up.

Jens.
