No mechanical sensor at all?

Or can a mechanical sensor to a sending unit then to an electric gauge be acceptable?

Or one that reads off the obdII Only (idk if that is possible)

I have confirmed that you can not get oil pressure via obdII

i would prefer a pwm type sensor, I work on cat equipment and thats all they use for pressure sensors, they cant leak oil and tolerate heat much better and are more accurate and smaller, I have not figured out why everyone still uses mechanical senders, I will probably just get the spa designs dual gauge setup, my prosport junk just failed and pissed oil everywhere and may have killed the motor (wife drives it, she killed it when the gauge went nuts from lack of oil) but even the spa gauge uses a mechanical sender

I think autometer has a sending unit that can send a digital signal to their gauge. expensive if i remember correct. I installed an autometer oil pressure gauge with the nylon hose and it was a mistake! I lost a quart of mobile 1 under my new carpeting. I now have a new car scent of mobile 1, not too bad though. It smells fast anyways. I had to cut/couple/repair that nylon hose about 3 or 4 times before it sealed because if you kink it, ur fuct. I would recomend the stainless braided lines. get one cut/made at a local shop to the length you need, save a lot of headaches.
shwoop's car running better? sounds like it from my house anyways. yeah, I can hear soobies when you have safety meetings without me. ;P

Iput some 850 injectors in because I thought tyler was going to be here this weekend to tune but he's not and my computer us dead so I can't do anything. I guess I could swap the injectors back out

anyone know law enforcement vehicles well in AZ?

Big black Suburban or Tahoe with ONLY Grill Lights

i'm not used to multiple types of law enforcement: local pd, sheriff, highway patrol and am curious to what this vehicle could of been that pulled up behind me? i may or may not have deserved to be pulled over (if you know what I mean) which is why i'm curious....

CT only has State Troopers, you see an epic looking crown vic and occasional explore you gtfotw (get the fu** out the way) so this is all new to me

give or take was dps(highway patrol) or undercover cop. look on your ticket if it was issued by sheriff it will have a sheriff badge and read as follows: "maricopa county sheriffs dept" or some b.s. in that area. your ticket will always described the fellow officer whom in which issued you the citation

(load of sh** my rex was impounded cuz some jerk cut me off and i went around casually and flipped him off and all of a suddend i was "driving without consent to the safety of others as well as my insurance payment was kicked back therefore was caught without insurance!)

In prescott there are all kind of police vehicles... A couple unmarked tahoes, a couple unmarked chargers, a 90s ford truck, several unmarked ford explorers, dps, sherrif, prescott, chino and pv police depts, as well as reservation cops if your by frontier village... Also citizen patrol which you should flip the bird to. I think I'm missing some as well...
Oh and none of the unmarked vehicles have government plates.. If it was undercover it was prob police. Dps had unmarked cars but they typically reserve those for drug busts

There is also a unmarked 04 PSM Wingless STi running around...plate says "IMPREZA", if you get pulled over by him just give em all your stash and he'll probably let you off with a warning.

its just a good hamburger place in jerome...
nothing really to write home about i guess but the main reason for that is the burgers are like 10-15 dollars.
but on wed its buy one get one free so that soso 10 dollar burger is a pretty damn good 5 dollar burger. and its at the top of a twisty mountain road
