I am a new subie owner and looking for some "suber" people in Arizona to become friends with and learn about these cars. One of my main concerns right now is the elevation level here in Prescott, the car was tuned for a lower elevation. Can this be any harm to the engine???

I wouldn't be too concerned. I got my car Pro Tuned by Pacific Import Auto a few years back when I lived in Washington and was concerned about the elevation change as well when I moved to Prescott. I will occasionally switch maps every few months and haven't had any issues. Car does run a little rich, but I rather have it run slightly rich than lean.

Who here is in pv and who is in Prescott? We should meet at the mall and cruise to zekes or tailgaters in pv one of these evenings. Both have good food and drink specials. Let's hear when people are available.
I've seen several new names in the thread and we need to put some faces to names.

Who's in?

i say we shoot for a week from today, (that will be thursday may 10)
meet up at say 530 and cruise out to catch over an hour of happy hour deals.

post up if you are gonna come or cant make it...

Im down for a safety meet, got a little something to throw on top of that topic >=-D I'm picking up my next project today, its a 94 fwd legacy sedan(lt blue/greyish) with a bad motor, Should be back around 6pm.a lot like my last swap but its more of a sleeper and the base model is a lighter platform to start with. Also, it'll keep the popo's from getting the itch to pull me over, theyre generating revenue up here.I ported my exhaust manifold and installed a lightweight act flywheel(freebie) on my 20g since the teardown. My dead t-bo leggo is almost stripped down to scrap,i swear that thing was haunted from day one anyhow.

I'm in Prescott. I'm working next thursday, usually dont get out till 745, I might show up late I guess. If I had choice of place bww is usually good, tailgaters beats zekes, imho.
