Default shift knob adapter for aftermarket shift knob...

Many people including myself found some nice shift knobs but doesn't have the little adapter thing to lock onto the boot. So some people end up buying something else or doing some funny trick to the boot or shift lever to make the boot stay. Well, I found this thing from OSH it's only $.99!!

You have to take the boot and knob off first, place it on the shift lever, put the boot back on and screw the shift knob back on. That's it! no tape, no rubber bands, no nothing!!

You'll find this under plumbing and look for cooper pipe fitting or couplink. the size is 1/2"

Have fun!

Yes, please post pics and detailed descriptions of the procedure. i would like to free myself from relying on only buying a shift knob that has the plastic boot clip.

the upper part (smaller end) actually goes into the after market knob. Fits perfert for my knob. You might want to bring your aftermarket knob to find a match size. I am not sure if it will work with the momo knob. Let me know!
