Default overcharged ac

ok..had a little learning experience with HVAC and got pwned when replacing my compressor and overfilling it.

just called pepboys and they said they dont have any servicable parts for it but can attempt to vaccum it out and get the r134a to the right pressures..

Is there a way to tell if i busted the expansion valve? If not, i'll just take it to a dealership to save 2 trips.

The expansion valve will be fine. Overcharge will cause the head pressures to go too high and kick off the compressor. Evac and recharge system to proper levels and you will be fine.

If needed feel free to call us and setup and appointment.

Thanks,
Noah
