Default ICS'S 07 Stage 2 12.2's at 110+ MPH..

Hi everyone you guys know Al and I have been working on getting the 07 in the high 11's on a stock turbo and intercooler.. well we were supposed to head down to Englishtown this afternoon but work had kept us. The funny thing is we had to drop off a car 53 miles from Lebanon Valley Dragway, so I looked at my assistant TNT AKA (Angel) and we both had a grin on our face. We ended up bringing the 07 STI to the strip to see what she can do. Ill scan the time sheets tomorrow.

1.631 60ft
4.974 330ft
87.34 1/8 speed
7.770 1/8
10.190 1000 ft
109.99 1/4 speed
12.235 1/4 ET

This was holding 4rth gear.

1.665 6ft
5.012 330ft
88.66 1/8 speed
7.783 1/8
10.173 1000ft
110.26 1/4 speed
12.218 1/4 ET

This was shifting into 5th gear

The car the way its sits with some more practice will go 12.0's 12.1. I still need to bring up the MPH to get her into the high 11's. The second pass with a harder launch would have def been in the 12.1's area. Well back to the drawing board. Ill keep everyone posted.

low 12's is just crazy in a stock turbo and intercooler, must have been a really aggressive tune, tell us mods, boost and track conditions. good numbers though

This car is on its way. I appreciate your concern, if you have any furthur questions please contact me via p.m.

There are a few 07s going 12.4s or better.. I know of 2 making the same if not more MPH than this car on straight pump gas maps.. Don't worry Im sure there will be a few in the 11s soon..

Good driving George..

You see Al, this is the area George and I really need to work on. We are two "large" drivers .

Whats gonna happen when the skinny kids start making good power with their 07's

Great to hear your making progress also.. There is only so much you can do making power is easy air fuel and spark advance period there is no magic in that, our turbo's can only pump out so much. Who know's im not going to stop trying.. I will TRY to cut high 1.5's with suspension mods and possibly another 1 mph should get me were I need to be.

have you guys considered switching to a taller tire, that way your rpms will be finishing in 4th, so your not so far past the power band

Well this set-up will not last much longer on the car. But it sounds like a great idea..
