It's my grandma's

Default Bone Stock Maggie goes 12.80 @ 109 MPH!

Click here for the 12.8 @ 109 video.

I finally had a chance to take Maggie to the local dragstrip in Englishtown, NJ. She ran a 12.802 @ 109.12 and then backed it up with a 12.9 @ 108 on the second pass. I'm pretty happy with these numbers considering the car is 100% bone stock with no modifications whatsoever. It even still has the temp tags on it.

On my 12.802 pass, the 0-60 MPH according to the EVIC was a 4.45. I think with more practice, I can cut a mid to high 1.8 60ft and run a 12.6 to 12.7 in cooler air at Atco. Not too shabby for a 4400lb family wagon!!!

Here are all the specs:

2007 Dodge Magnum SRT-8 w/3200 miles on the odo
No options except option package #2 (air filtration, automatic headlights, etc)

Track elevation: 70ft above sea level
Outside temperature: 71F
Barometric Pressure: 29.43 In.
Dewpoint: 55F
Density Altitude: 1617ft

Race weight including driver: 4388lbs

Price paid for car brand new: $27,500. List price on the window sticker is $39,080!

Click here for the 12.8 @ 109 video.

Wow... that's incredible! You must have a bit of a factory freak, because I don't remember any of the mags coming close to those times or traps with the SRT-8's. I just sent this link to my buddy (gregsbluerex) that has a Cherokee SRT-8.

The Cherokee's sound sick, I was sitting in my car, and all of a sudden one went speeding past me at a light, sounded awesome.

Wow. Great stock times. Definitly a factory freak. Chargers trap 109 stock, but not very often do the maggies. But a new diablo on that and an intake and get the 1.8 60ft and you will have your self a 12.5 car.

The Cherokee's run 13.2-13.4 all night long. A friend of mine has one, and it was definitely quicker than my STI when it was stock, he could easily pull away on the highway.

If i remember correctly there are some that are faster than that stock...If you launch it right by power braking it have gone into the 12's...i'll see if i can dig anything up on it.

Well truth be told when I was researching my purchase, I did a bit of digging around on the net and found that all the guys with "factory freak" 1/4 mile times and traps were the ones who beat the crap out of their SRT-8 with only 10 miles on it. It seems like these cars are ultra sensitive to the initial break in period when it comes to how strong they wind up becoming.
