Link G3 Plug-in questions
I'm hoping someone in the forums can shed some light on the usage of the Link G3 Plug-in board (WRXLinkG3). Basically, I'm looking for answers to the following:
1.) How's the fuel map work? If anyone remembers the old 44S, the fuel tuning used meaningless units. Does the new unit work the same way, or did they change the fuel table to use pulse width, etc., like other solutions? 2.) How does the anti-lag solution work? Is it software-based like the Autronic, or does it require additional hardware to control the TB opening? 3.) Any special "features" like the old 44s? Fuel pump problems, etc.? Basically, I'm looking for a standalone to run my v7 STi swap. I've been considering the following standalones... AEM: No AVCS control Hydra: Every additional feature requires extra $$ (e.g. I can't wire-in my existing WBO2 for closed-loop), and software upgrades require $$. Autronic SM2: No AVCS control Autronic SM4 plug-in: I like everything I've seen about this unit so far. I'm just exploring other options before I decide to drop ~$2500.

Oh, I really like the Autronic SM4 plug-in board. I just want to research all my options before I plunk down the $2500.

You could try rexnet.com.au, there's a few guys there who use these and rate them highly.
Also try wrx.com.au |
