Default Subaru AT Leather Shift Knob?

http://www.subaruparts.com/catalog/?section=48

That doesn't look very much like an AT shift knob.

yeah, well
incidentally, the leather knob for the bg/bd is the same as the vinyl one with a leather cover (same with the steering wheel)

If anybody wants a leather AT knob, I'll trade you, mebbe like $20 and your plastic knob (i'll ship first, i have an aftermarket shifter)

Sybir,

What kind of an aftermarket AT shifter knob do you have. Any links to pics? Thanks

Dale

I have the STi Titanium shift knob on the Legacy GT Wagon. I like it. I know that STi's webpage has a picture of it.

My Turbo came with a leather one to start with, though it's nicely polished now, like the steering wheel.

It's a gunmetal AC one, plunger type (the whole knob pushes down for the shift lock)

i'll snap some pics and post them........

I'd like an AT shift knob that has the button on the top instead of the side. Makes it easier to control the lever, seeing as it likes to jump from "3" past "D" into "N" which is not much fun.

Please post pictures and places to order.

What's the little red button for?

That knob does look a bit out of place in a subaru, but if it works...

So to disengage the shift lock you press the top part down?

right, marc

the red button is for the ejector seat
it's actually a DPDT switch for the power antenna; I hardly ever listen to the radio, so I hated that the antenna was always up when the radio was on; it also means I can listen to music in the car wash
I just wired it into my accessory output on my pioneer (after the amp remote control)
