Default If you have Morretes (or getting some) check this out!

I am going to try to install the switch as soon as I find out if it will work with my Morretes. Jacob is the motor on your Morretes for auto leveling or adjusting. Mine have not arrived yet. I think it would be sweet to have the switch. Let me know what you guys think.

got my morettes yesterday. they don't have the auto-leveling feature or motor. even if they did, i think you'd need the black control box in addition to the switch.

guys,

Did your Morettes come with 2 flat, semi-rectangular plastic pieces that are about 2.5 by 3.5 inches? I have not been able to figure out what these pieces are for. Any ideas? Thanks! Good luck installing your new lights!

These are Morette Headlights:

They are from France and cost around $400-500. They have European specification Hella Lenses so they are FAR superior to the stock Legacy headlights (and they look pretty cool too ).
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Default Auto-levelling

HIHO: I was told, the auto-levelling feature only works if the car is already equipped with the motor(s). I would be surprised if it were otherwise, because the prices on the kit with and without the auto-levelling are identical.

jacob, i didn't see any rectangular plastic pieces in the box. just the two headlights and a credit card receipt.

i'm kinda surprised that the turn signals are clear bulbs in orange housings under the clear lenses. i was hoping they'd be orange bulbs under the clear lense so i could swap 'em out.

still waiting to get my car back. i'll have to look at hiho's pictures and pretend it's my car..

-- Froggert and HIHO:

These are the Mystery plastic pieces that came with my Morettes:

Who knows?!

Froggert --

I was also disapointed that the Morettes have clear corner lenses with a clear bulb and orange inner-lense. I looked into having the orange lense removed, but it looked like more effort than it was worth. I would have also replaced the clear bulb with a super white blinker bulb. Buy, with the cops in Seattle cracking down of clear and white lights on the sides or front of cars, it is just as well that I stay with the amber color. I think the amber is also much easier for other drivers to see. I just decided to make my clear side markers bright yellow/orange instead of super white for the same reasons.

Also, I am not interested in buying the beam-leveling motors for my Morettes, as my Whiteline springs prevent the rear of my car from sagging with a full load of people and stuff.
