Default STI struts on 05 LGT?

Can anyone verify if Strut spring assembly fit onto a 05 5sp legacy gt?

also, sti sways, any chance they bolt on?

thanks in advance
Ravi

No, they probably won't. As I remember, the rear suspension design is a lot different.

nope none of it will fit. sorry. after 05 the "lego factor" really went downhill for subies.. about the only thing that will work are engine stuff.. as the turbo legacys have the 2.5l WRX motor. so anything that works for that motor will work for our cars. except the downpipes which are different.

why dont yo just get aftermarket LGT springs? I've got H-techs on mine and i really like it. or you can go coilover for about a grand.

Only things specifically for the 05+ Legacy will work as far as suspension parts go.

Haha, I was looking for this too. Looks like it worked on the old ones, but not the new ones.

Once Subaru went to the multi-link rear, Legacy's can't use impreza suspension bits anymore (for the most part).

'05 & newer Legacy's can swap parts with '08 & newer Impreza's...it's Lego version 2

Front struts and swaybars maybe. The rear is still different from what I can tell.

I'm not sure if there's any difference with crossmembers though. Obviously there is from an N/A Legacy to an STi, but I don't know about the GT.
