i only use leveling and auto-color in photoshop.
Is the 50mm a canon lens and f/1.8, how much was that? I want the IS 100-400 but good lord I can't afford those prices. The most expensive thing I bought for my canon was the 580EX flash when it first came out. That baby's flash is good up to 190 feet. I was wondering about the use of photoshop because they looked very clear. And picture taking should not be 80% post, you can't get detail in a picture if it wasn't there to begin with. Always try to get the best shot possible so very little is needed in post.

Some of my pics from the Canon

There must have been some confusion....people posting that they want more pics of your wife doesn't mean that we want to see pics of your legs.

I think I'll pick one up when I can for shooting portraits. I really want to save up and get a XTi, but I'll need to sell my Digital Rebel to help pay for it. Anyone want to buy a Canon Digital Rebel?

it is the 50mm 1.8 canon. i got it for $80 at at bhphotovideo.com .
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...0mm_f_1_8.html it has a plastic shell, which is why it is cheap, but it is a great lense and hasn't failed me at all. i have put it through some rigorous use. at 1.8, it is a very fast lense and creates a very narrow depth of field.

please don't get my thread locked.

That's a cool looking cat. I dig your photos.

If I were home I'd post some of my off the camera pics. I have one of a butterfly you'd swear was photochopped. I can't remember if I used fill flash or not but that should be in the EXIF info anyway.
