Default Motor rebuild?

Was asking before about who or whom you all recommend for a 2.0 rebuild. Or buying a short block who would you all recommend. I live around the Ohio Ky WV area.

IMO, your best bet is a local shop who can do everything (pull the motor, rebuild, swap it back, and maybe even tune it). Less confusion and finger pointing if something goes wrong.

On a side note, this is a good opportunity for you to upgrade to a 2.5

I'd say order a motor from someone like Axis, etc, and see if you can get your local Subaru shop to swing it for you. I've gone several different routes - but the one I stated would have caused the least amount of stress.
