Did you do a run w/o the meth to see what difference the FMIC made? Nice numbers.

(edit) haha, damn... should have reloaded. Anyway, I wanna know too.

I think the benefits of the FMIC would be seen more with a larger turbo.

My neighbor picked up 50whp and 75 ft*lbs going from his non-meth to meth map in an 02 wrx.

If you search around there should be comparisons of TMIC to FMIC. I think most of them show that it doesnt do much on the vf series turbos.

i went for a road tune today to just check up on everything and chris said the logs showed that car hadnt knocked once and it was adding timming. everyting seems to be running great. is 12-12.5 not safe for a meth tune?

needs an EWG but is looking quite nice!!
I'm suprised your spool is that slow with the alky...my non alky vf39 2.0 was spooling a bit faster than that.

Probably due to the FMIC, thats why theyre not usually used with vf39's

thats exactly why, a FMIC has all that extra piping (especially if its not a rotated intake manifold), and then you have a relatively small turbo to fill all that piping as quickly as a larger turbo, so that extra time it takes to go thru all that piping vs the we'll say 12-14" of piping a TMIC has adds up pretty quick. but then again in the same case w/ any turbo, but obviously on the bigger turbo the benefit of a FMIC outweigh the idea of a TMIC w/ less piping.

i would say yes, but probably not as much as you would think on a turbo like the vf39....i kno on a turbo like the FP Green there have been gains equal to the addition of a meth kit (in that case it was a 30whp gain)...sometimes more, sometimes less (but that all depends on tuning), i'd imagine thoguh in this case w/ what they've done with your car so far you would see something on the higher side of hp gains

I was thinking the same thing. The dyno baseline is his previous tune when he had a TMIC, the latest tune was with a FMIC. The spool looks nearly identical to me. The FMIC = lag is so overplayed at this point it is ridiculous.

Great numbers, man! Enjoy it!

wow great #'s with meth. On my 2.0 I got peak whp of 328whp on meth and that was with a 20g on about 22-23psi. My torque wasn't as high though. My final torque came out to be 292wtq. Thats with 91 ca piss gas and meth. It's good to know with meth and a good tune our cars can actually produce some decent torque.(using a fmic)
