Just sitting in my closet as i have decided not to put them on the FXT cos i would rather do more suspension work right now. Both off of an 07 and i was told have less than 10k on them. Both look in great shape. I'd like to get rid of these. Can post pictures late tonight if there is interest.

Looking for $500 for the turbo and $300 for the TMIC, obviously negotiable. I live in Houston but will be in Austin this coming weekend. Thanks.

Alex

How much better? Better than an Evo 16g? Or close equivalent? I may be interested.

I can't answer that honestly. I know it doesn't have the cracking problem that the vf39 has and the 07 STI's have been putting down great numbers. Whether that is the turbo or other changes i have no idea. I'm sure someone on nabisco can answer this alot better than i can. Sorry. Let me know if you're interested though. Thanks.

I'm interested so far brotha, I'm waiting for Rob or someone with a higher knowledge than myself(or lack of) to chime back in to share some info. But if so, I may be able to come to Houston Novemberish to get a tune and pick up that turbo. ----And how much of a size difference is there between the 39 and the 43?

If you sell it before that, I understand and s'all good

Benji

the EVO 3 16g is good for about 350-375whp.... on a DSM or EVO.... a 16g isn't gonna get close to 400whp on a subbie

that kinda powa on a subbie (STI) you';d need a 30R or 35R

on a WRX....prolly somewhere around 275 or so

Not alot of VF39s going for under $400. STI guys caught on. Anything with under 10k and no cracks is going to cost $400+.

Heres a little info that I was able to dig up that may help in your decision. Im not sure what cfm the vf39 or the vf43 will flow but Im inclined to think they are the same. I beleive what is making the vf43 the better performer is the updated hotside, I believe it flows a little more efficiently and is not prone to cracking like the vf39. There are a couple of 16gs available the smaller of the 2 flows 505cfm ($649) and the larger one (evo3 16g $699) flows 550. These numbers are off of FP's website. I dont know alot of the technical things about turbos but I hope this little bit of info helps. If Im wrong about anything Ive posted someone please corrrect me.
