good tread, not down to the shave lines yet. They do have some scrubing on the outside edge, not to bad.

Or as in this case, 2 tires look a little more worn than the rest. looking at the pic with all four stacked it's easy to tell the 2 middle ones were the fronts. You could easily toss the worn ones in the back and make the whole set last you a good while.

Could u run unevenly worn tires on the WRX's on the street and not have any long term negative effect on the drive train?

Running on the street will even out the ware. Unless you are making 90 deg turns at 40.
