Default 2007 STi STG2 with a 75shot of NAWZ... lol : 381hp 441tq

I have done a bunch of Subies with nitrous just never a STG2. To say I was interested in doing this is an understatement. Sometimes its nice to break the norm and do something different. I was actually really amazed at how this car drove with the nitrous. On the street it felt like I was driving an NA Big Block hotrod. There was absolutely no lag just instant tq.

The is a STG2 Sti with a header and a ZEX single fogger nitrous kit jetted for a 75hp shot. Boost was set at 19psi peak with a tapper to 15psi at redline. Runs were made on a 50/50 mix of 93 and 110.

For this dyno run I switched the nitrous on at 2600rpms

Wow, VERY interesting... Wondering how long the motor is going to last. I sense another '07 STi down in compression' thread coming soon.

Wet or dry kit?

Pretty smooth curve nevertheless. I have never seen a stage2 powerband stay that high.

You didnt have to say when you switched it on, just look at that graph go vertical! Looks awesome, i bet this car runs very quick at the track.

As an aspiring "tuner" Im curious what is it like tuning a car with nitrous? How do you create a fuel map for a dry shot like this and is the a/f ratio more like pump gas or race gas? Also i would think that you would need a seperate map for nitrous, how do you do this with a reflashed ECU?

You guys crack me up... I have a ton of stock block cars running around on nitrous with no issues.

This was a wet kit, not a dry kit.

^ oh its a wet kit i didnt know. I saw a fogger on a transam once and it was a dry kit thats why i thought foggers were dry. Either way very nice results.

Nice job Doug... You guys need the NAWZ with the freakin heat down there. :P

Hey, while your getting time slips and motors and stuff get me shake at Sonic, will ya? lol.

Life is not about racing 12 seconds at a time for most people...

Nice job on your time attack car too.
