Question ST shifter CF and subaru CF insert

i have the ST shifter and it has the little piece of carbon fiber that has the gear locations. i like the somewhat subtle look of this CF piece. if i get the official subaru part CF radio/airvent/window insert, is this exactly the same look as the ST shifter decal look (somewhat subtle)? also, are these CF insertsactual replacement pieces or decals.

thanks, kirk

:monkey: is this a trunk monkey?

Default I think the answer is no

I have both the STi Shifter (with that nifty CF Gear thingy), and the Subaru CF Radio, door, bezel inserts. To my untrained eyes, they are not the same. The Shifter selector appears to be "real" carbon fiber, whereas the inserts on the radio, door and AC are fakie-doo.

Oh, and this is pretty cool, shine a lite on the CF STi Gear locator, then look at in the dark...The numbers Glow. Neat, huh?

Oh, BTW, your "trunk monkey" is shooting me the bird!

Not very polite.
