Hey guys I think we should all keep meeting up at the beergarden and then roll out together, to Pole Position, it just seems more fun that way lol

And second, I think after this meet on Tuesday we should decide whether or not to make it a weekly thing because that second meet turned out larger than expected !
And if we do make it weekly, pole position should only be done the once every other week or even once every 3 weeks ...that place is expensive as hell lol

i didn't think it was that much...i thought it was like 25$ PER PERSON.

your right it looks much more expensive than that...

http://www.polepositionraceway.com/n...s-and-parties/

2 races...60$ per person?
yikes. what are they running on rocket fuel?

we can rent the track for 2400$ an hour...2 hour minimum...WHAT?!?!?

best value?

Super Pole
Four Races

Race 1 – Practice #1 (timed)
Race 2 - Practice #2 (timed)
Race 3 - Qualifier (scored by time)
Race 4 - Main Event (scored by position)

$95 per person

definitely not my idea of cheap, or something i would do on a by-weekly basis.

but i would do it once.

Yea guys Its ridiculous, I say we do it once a month, roll out from beergarden to Pole Position and all the other times just stay there, that way, we always meet at the same spot and no confusions as to where we are meeting on any given week

on their "giant" gtrack, fastest time yesterday was ~35s/lap
on their "medium" regular track, fastest time i think is usually ~25s/lap
on their' "small" regular track, fastest time i think is usually ~15s/lap

at least thats the consensus i've seen on the time cards after races.

and i think i heard someone working there say it was 15 laps a race, but i am not 100% on that fact

my company has asked us if we want paintball or pole position and we chose PP. it's in d higher-ups decision now if we'll go there this month. and judging from the prices, im kinda doubting we'll go there but who knows what my cheap company will do. sometimes they'll surprise us with a fine dining lunch every 3 months! lol

anyway, i wont make it onthe 7th, something came up and i need to be somewhere in the city that day

Yeap, They are 15 laps a race or 14 , i forget. Last time I went, I was with the pros, they all had brought their own helmets, and we crashed like 3 to 4 times, It was pretty bad, almost shut down our race

Crashing... saw an asian girl, prolly late 20s early 30s crash on the gtrack. Hit so hard and straight on that the barriers flew into her helmet. She raced three more times after that lol.

also met a guy that has a 10wrx obp hb at pp. He had a matte black helmet with neon green subaru logo decal on it. Looked sick

I think keeping it at the BG lot to start might work out better.. You don't have to go into PP or the BG, but I have a feeling they might care more if 25 people are in PP lot rather than the far end of the BG lot.. Tue's are a big night for PP?? (never been, looking forward to Tue) BG lot on a Tue is dead..

i dont think they would mind having a bigger meet at Pole Position. The parking lot stretches out pretty far and the managers at PP are pretty cool plus PP is hidden away from local streets. I would think the parking lot meets at BG would be more of a concern when the meet starts getting bigger because its a commuter lot/hospital employee lot... and not like we're a patrons at BG all the time.

PP does get expensive. the race itself is not that long. both smaller but technical track and the bigger track, times are roughly 20 seconds per lap at 15 laps per run. usually for every time you get on the track its less than 10 minutes long.. and if we put in 3 runs for 25 bucks a piece, it gets expensive for not a lot of time killed...

Well Idk because I think Theres plenty of room for cars at BG, We didnt even use the other side, we can have car facing both sides and easily fit 40+ cars

Also Theres no way people can afford to go PP everytime, so we mind as well keep it at beer garden and when we do go to PP we just roll out from there as one large group

I also thought about having the meets to go to PP once a month and making it the 1st Tuesday of every month as the day we go to PP
Whatcha guys think?

Just putting it out there...the weathers nice for now, would you guys be interested in coming down to south jersey for a big meet? The sports authority in south jersey, moorestown between route 38 & 73 has an established meet on tues. Nights. There is a Philly art museum meet on tues nights, and those guys are planning on cursing over to the SA meet this Tuesday. I know you guys already have something going on, but a Subaru take over would be BOSS. the crowd that attends is mixed cars but I have seen over 100 cars at these meets due to how long it's been going. It's a tri state tuners meet but anyone who can drive a car like an adult is welcome.

I don't expect you guys to ditch your meet but maybe you guys are up for a cruise down to some other car freaks. Safe location, cops are very cool with us as long as we respect the lot and local laws. Totally a legit meet with plenty of parking.

I only mention it cause the Philly crew is heading over and it should be a nice turnout.

sounds like a good plan. PP meets once a month is more than enough anyways. it gets too pricey too.
