Default Slew of ProTorque high stall torque converter questions!

This is mostly specific to a 1997 Subaru Impreza 2.2L!

1. Who actually sells these damn things? I can't seem to find a single vendor.

2. With me averaging around 28mpg, what kind of gas mileage do you think I would get after the HSTC?

3. I have very little mods and the best I've ran is a 17.1, so any ideas what time I would run after the install? A rule-of-thumb 16.1, perhaps, or is the 1-sec standard exclusive to turbo'ed Scoobies?

4. Do I look fat in this dress?

5. I tend to cruise at around 2500rpm at 60mph most of the time, so how would drivability change?

6. With the 2500rpm cruise speed considered, what stall speed would be ideal for best fuel consumption and drivability? Above or below 2500rpm?

7. What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?

8. Is this modification pointless on such a slow 150hp turd as my Impreza?

9. How does a higher stall torque converter effect transmission reliability/longevity? Increase? Decrease?

10. Why should we hire you?

11. Should I or should I not spend the extra cash on the IPT VB (remember: this Impreza is a cheap turd)?

12. Do I need a tranny cooler for my application? If so, what brand, model, and size?

Welp, thank ya'll for your time!

Have you been to the protorque website? www.protorque.com

I dont think any vendors sell the whole unit, but you can send in your current tc and have them upgrade it.

i would probably not spend the money to mod any transmission mods with the impreza. Yes, if you get the protorque tc... then you would want to get a transmission cooler. the valvebody mod would also be a very nice complement to your tc mod. usually people who undergo these mods have either stage 2 or plus modded 4eat wrx's. I don't think there would be a point to these types of mods on 150hp car. (If you have money to throw away... i have some swampland in florida for sale)
