Default Loss of power after Rear Bearing change

Just had the left Rear Bearing changed on my 2000 RS. As I was driving it out of the dealer, I noticed the car was barely moving yet the engine was reving, just like a slipping clutch (new clutch and pressure plate 3months ago). Drive it straight back into the dealer and "complain" that my clutch is slipping. They state that the bearing change could not have affected the clutch...so up goes the car and the Rear Left axle shaft is not properly connected the rear diff (the right shaft is nice and close the rear diff, the left one is about 1 inch away from the diff). They fix it and I drive off with a brand new car (no more rear bearing noise) and what seems to be no more slippage....

After driving it for a day I am quite sure the car does not have the same acceleration as it did and I can sense some slippage when I accelerate hard. I looked under the car tonight and everything seems OK

Any idea what could cause the loss of power and/or any way to check it?

Thanks
