Default MAP location?

On the 92 turbo Legacy, is the MAP sensor the one on the strut tower on the passenger side? Is it also called something else, atmospheric pressure sensor? Or are these two different things? I have done alot of searching but can not find a post telling me where it is?

There is a pressure sensor over there. Try a search at Legacy Central's BBS for this and I think you'll have more luck.

Oh, it's called a MAP in the Chilton's manual, which is confusing. There's a barometric pressure sensor, but that same manual says it's internal to the ECU.
