Default Colin Mcrae gone.......

Not sure how many people have heard yet... But according to some of the other forums and such. Colin Mcrae passed away in a helicopter accident somewhere near his home. Mcrae owned and was the pilot of his own helicpoter... Mcraes agent has not been able to get ahold of Mcraes wife, so they are starting to think his wife was involved in the crash. They have recovered 2 bodies at the scene, but they have not been identified yet. Either way thats a sad story... No matter whom it may be! Anyways, thought I would post it up. You can read about it in the News section if you like.

Seriously. I'm in shock. Such a sad loss for the sport, for which he made so popular. His 5 year old son was also lost in the accident, and he leaves his wife and 9 year old daughter behind

One of the things I missed the most when WRC was pulled speed was watching Colin go WOT over the jumps in Finland while everyone else let off. May not have been the best idea but it sure was fun to watch. Colin was all in all the time.

R.I.P Colin.

The last time I saw him race was at this years X-Games. He was a great driver, and a great father to his family.

If you guys havent noticed in that announcement, Nick is going to be making Colin McRae memorial stickers, and 100% of profit will be going to the family or a charity of the family's choice.

he said projected price is $10/2 stickers.

I'm buyin' $20 worth.

Default Our deepest sympathies to the McRae family

Rest in peace Colin McRae.

A very sad time indeed,
I wish I would've had the chance to meet this Great Man.
Its very upsetting for his life to come to an end at the age he was,
especially with such a young family.
My thoughts go out to his family and all involved.
This is massive loss to rallying, he will be greatly missed.

Here's a few pics from better times, the way we all shall always remember him.
