What's the reason they will not fit on a 2005 STi?

I see. Does that have something to do with the stock manifold design? I believe most, if not all, aftermarket manifolds that fit on a WRX fit on an STi, right?

What size is the tap? 1/8th NPT or 1/8th PT?

Hey those look familiar

The tap is 1/8" NPT, standard american pipe thread. NOT BSP, or straight british/japanese 1/8" pipe thread. Will fit 99% of the EGT probes out there or you can get an alternate compression fitting or adapter from a parts store if you have something weird.

The oil pan makes no difference. I've seen the same set of aftermarket headers go on a bugeye and 05/06 sti. Also used an 03 WRX set of stockers on an 05 sti. They will fit any 02-07 turbo impreza. Might even fit the forester xt or legacy gt, can't remember though.
