Default Injen FMIC any with first hand experience? Contemplating use with VF34

So i was looking around a different FMIC. I was going to get a SSAC. DO NOT want to take the beam off. The Injen is the only alternative.
I know how small it is but, is it suffice for a VF34?

I searched and can't find crap on it? Searched a lot
The only thing i did find is that Unabomber had it at one point.

I understand is i had a 18 or 20g but a VF, the Injen should do it justice right?
Plus, keep the bumper beam and bumper intact.

Additionally, i found a really good deal on it because i am a CHEAP BASTARD.
I have done a lot of searching and supposedly from what i am reading it has the best design and idea out there just the sizing is wrong. ie. not to many bends etc.

Sorry, in my mind, the Injen FMIC is just NOT a good bang for the buck.

My biggest problems with the Injen FMIC are:
1. It's tiney core size: 24 x 6.25 x 3 which is only 450 cubic inchs.
2. It is also not cheap at around $1,100.

An ebay or SSautochrome "TMIC" core dimensions are 20" x 7.5" x 4.5" which is 675 cubic inchs, (50% larger) and it doesn't force a small turbo to pressurize 8+ ft of pipe. Also, you can pick-up a SSautochrome or ebay TMIC for about $200.

Now, I had a buddy who had it on his 04 WRX with a vf22 and he claimed it didn't affect his spool that much and he liked it. Although he was also pretty certain it didn't gain him that much power as well.

Thanks for the input man.
But, i found out its the Larger version just now.

Its the larger core with bumper support replacement 5 times better than the pea sized one. (14 row, 950 cu.in)

Finding this out i am definitely buying this bad boy.
Hope its not to big now

Im getting it for around 7-800. I think there like 1400 new.

I talked to a guy in the Southeast Region a while back. He had the Phantom version of the Injen fmic. He was unhappy with it. The problems that he note were piping fitment and hood clearance issues in which he had to cut the hoods inner support for it to fit without touching the hood.

This is the only person that I have seen with this fmic, so it could also be user error as well.
