Default new jdm heads running no avcs?

I am considering running some jdm v7 heads on my next ej22t build.
If I want to run a non avcs setup is it just a matter of blocking the oilfeed or?
will these heads work with an ej22t block sleeved to 2.5?
oh and who has non avcs cams for these heads?
thanks in advance.
Jon

all the oil feed lines are still utilized...
For cams, you might want to contact axis

I thought you were still supposed to use AVCS cams? Don't block off the oil feeds, you'll starve them AFAIK.

any ver5 and newer non-AVCS cam or any plugged AVCS cam will work for hose heads...you don't have to block the oiling in the head.
Those heads will work fine with the EJ22 bored out...I'd take advantage of the smaller combustion chamber in the piston design too.
