Default V-Kool Tint

Anyone have any experience with V-Kool window tint? Or know who in the valley installs it?

I just removed the dealer installed purple bubbly stuff and am intrigued by the heat rejection claims of the V-Kool 40...

Thanks in advance.

No experience with it. I honestly don't think using one film thats more expense than another is worth it. As long as it doesn't go purple, and it keeps out a fair amount of heat, I'm happy with it.

The only tint that I would spend extra money on is ceramic tint, but that costs an arm, leg, and your first born.

I went to Airpark Tint in scottsdale and was extremely pleased with their service. They didn't freehand it so the tint is ground off at the very edge of the window (no line of clear glass). Looks very nice.

My $.02

480-628-0949 Al....this is the guy who has tinted all my windows, and has done just about every one of my friend's cars. He has 12yrs experience. Just make sure if you are buying tint, or getting it done, to find out the color base, greys are obviously the best, purples and other color bases are the ones that will go to **** after a few years.

just my .02 D

There's another tint that has really good specs, Huper-Optik DREI. I found an install place on the web in Chandler, and got a quote on that one installed for $600 ... $$ ouch $$.

I was curious why the tints age to purple. Turns out that blue and red dyes are used to make gray. Go figure.

Huper-Optik would be the ceramic that I speak of. Big $$

Just get a metalized tint that is color guaranteed. Problem solved.
