Default First time tracking in the rain at WSIR

I have dry track experiences at Street of Willow and Laguna Seca, but tomorrow I might be tracking in the rain at WSIR for the first time.

so if the track is wet, is there a rule of thumb that i must follow to prevent getting into an accident?? I know that traction will be reduced quite a lot, so i will be going slower than usual. Any advice would be great.

You kind of have to feel out where the grip is. Often, what is considered the "ideal" line will have the least amount of grip in the rain because the pavement there has so much rubber laid down on it, so you may actually be faster/safer taking an unconventional line. Obviously be extra careful and slowly build up speed until you reach the limit in the given conditions. It's kind of like driving in the dry but the limit in most cases is a lot lower.
