Kosta, hope you regain your mojo soon - it sucks when each time I hope to find updates I find nothing. Work a little harder to please your fans

I didn't read through the whole thread but from the looks of how the project started to where the car is now, it looks like you have done an awesome restore on the car. Great work and keep it up! Best of luck with everything.

Insert generic "betcha wish you'd listened to the 100 douches who told you to drop an STi in there" joke here. Just kidding- not trying to make light of the situation- but I thought I'd tell you of two things. One, is that a good friend of mine who owns an engine shop told me about a barn up here in humboldt with a ton of old old suby stuff- some for a couple home-built planes and some complete cars. He said he'd take me up there next weekend- so I'll be scouring for a 63. It's a 63, right? Not a 71? I'll re-read the posts before I go. Also, when I showed him the pics he said he'd fixed many a boxer block before. So long as it's cast aluminum (which I assume it is) he said he could heliarc from the outside- rebore and re sleeve it. There is an oem ea63 sleeve on eBay right now for $18. I'm sure you've already thought about it- but I'm sure it can be done for what he says is in the neighborhood of $250. Anyway- I'll check out he barn, it's an hour drive up a mountain so I hope there's something there. And thanks for the detailed build- this is my first post but I've been following closely since '09- good schit!

Surprise Update:

Got a early B-day present, some door/window edge trim seal (bulb seal, molding, whatever you want to call it) from Amazon.com. $35 for 20 feet, not bad. Still need another one for the driver side door:

I tried to install the side rear windows, but I realized I filled the holes for the hinge

Its also a pain in the ass to install these windows without chipping the paint! Its not as easy as it looks.

As for the door windows, I still need some window channel felt in order to install the frames. And of course the trunk seal too.

Kosta, how wide are the channels for the window felts?

I know this is Chevy stuff, but it seemed pretty generic when I installed in on my Nova, like it could be used on anything. It basically conforms the the U shaped channel regardless of width.

Alright folks, I'm having issues installing the rear side windows, one of my levers is broken and I'm concerned the non-broken one is about to break. They are made of REALLY brittle plastic and I'm concerned, so I'd like to replace them.

Plus, I accidentally filled the holes for them at some point, so the holes for these are gone. Making new holes for different versions of these would be OK since I don't have any holes right now. Heck, I'm not even sure what to call these, anyone know the technical name?

FYI, I pulled some off of a later model Loyale, but they won't work. Way too different.
