Got a little ahead of myself again

A few parts are actually installed permanently, like the water pump, intake manifold, alternator brackets, etc. Don't have the distributor on 100% yet but I wanted to check the plug wires and how they lay out among other things.

Oh and ignore the squished oil filter, thats just for break-in.

Girlfriend? Haven't you read the thread? He is restoring a tiny old FWD Subaru. I don't think women are a threat in his life. jk Kosta

If you want to see a '71 or '72 (I was never sure which) FF-1 that was loved by its owner, visit its page on my website.

My father bought the car with 600 miles on it from a used-car dealer in Columbus, Miss. I learned to drive with this car, and it became mine around the 65,000-mile mark when my mother bought a '79 Subaru DL four-door. The yellow Suub stayed with me until about halfway through college when my father sold it for about $1,000 less than its original purchase price.

Although that FF-1 is long gone, today I enjoy my wife's '07 Forester XT. You are lucky to have found one of these fun little cars in good condition. I am amazed by the amount of work you have put into tracking down parts and getting the mechanical and body pieces perfect.

I like the pics. Like Kosta said you don't see many vintage US subies. Switched from a 'Bama to Miss State fan huh?

Couple photos from today. I've got the vacuum lines and such all sorted and a couple other things done.

Also got the air filter to fit now... JUST BARELY!
