Default 93 fwd to 6 speed awd swap how much?

i have a 93 L fwd want to convert to awd w 6 speed set up. just something i've been tossen around, love the car just want to know what price to expect. parts and wiring, everything except interior. need motor, trans, driveline ,breaks. want a nice project. dont really know if a 5 speed is a better idea just because its cheaper or if 6 speed is overkill. by no means do i want to just replecate my sti with an L but knowing the life span of a heavly used 5 speed why not just spend the extra. want opinons thanks

well it really depends on your plans for the car.

if you are upgrading ur 1.8L to a 2.5L NA, then a 5speed is still okay. but if you are thinking about going with a turbo motor like a WRX or STI, then i suggest a 6-speed for the extra assurance that it most likely wont break.

bottom line, it all depends on your power goals and what you plan on doing with the car.

Jaxx where did you get those prices from? I've been looking into a sti 6 speed in my L(already AWD though)

only thing is I dont want to sue the brembos since I dont want to have to run 17" tires year round

missing some custom rear axles or rear hubswap and axles in those parts lists...take your pick

I did an R180 with DSS stage 5 rears with the r180 inboard stub and standard outside hub...
then used the subaru stubs upfront and standard sized subaru fronts (customs stage 5's still being made)...6-spd driveshaft...you can use a 6-spd or 5-spd turbo clutch setup but must use the appropriate flywheel as well.
you will need to convert to a hydraulic pedal assembly too...tried to use my cable clutch but had to give into the ****ty hydro conversion

sourced my entire 6-spd swap for $4200 shipped excluding the axles...the rears retail for $1200 a set and the fronts, well just stick with the stubs unless you plan to make big power
