Default i need a wrx power steering pump banjo bolt in MKE asap

it looks like my major power steering pump leak is from banjo bolt since its a different style bolt. It looks like I need a tappered bolt for it to seal in the pump correctly. If anyone has one laying around in the milwaukee area I'll buy it from you asap if it looks like what I need.

Are you sure it's the bolt, and not a missing crushwasher?

I've never taken a wrx pump apart so its possible. I have the oem washer that the RS's use that looks to be teh same as the wrx ones. the oem washer is the 1 piece design one that slides onto the bolt from the top nothing near where i believe it needs to get sealed. Now if theres a crush washer that belongs where the bolt touches the pump at the bottem I'd need that I guess. I don't have a diagram that I can look at to really know for sure

Danny, Sorry I could'nt get back to you via pm's earlier. Remove the bolt and look to see if it has been stretched or has any thread damage. Take the bolt to a parts store and get a couple copper or aluminum crush washers that fit it. It should do the trick.

You may also want to check the threads in the pump. Look for cracks in the casting.
