Default FS: carbon fiber pads from GTBGUY's group buy

His price was $95 per set (f+r) shipped. Mine is $80 per set, shipped, $150 if somebody wants both sets (I have two). I was going to keep the fronts (which fit the WRX) and give away the rears, but I'm going with the four-pot option, and for some reason I thought that they were cheaper.

They work really, really well on our (your...I keep forgetting) cars, especially with stainless lines and SuperBlue brake juice.

Since i've upped my brakes in front to WRX-spec 11.4s, i'm going to have to think about this...

How are they in the cold?

Just for clarification, are you selling 4 brake pads (f+r) for $80? I am very interested. Please email me with the details. Thank you.

I found that they worked quite well in the cold, and they heated up quickly. KVR seems to have gotten the carbon fiber mix just right. They grabbed really well, and didn't dust that badly, though I washed my Legacy (t'was black, y'know) and had P1 rims.

Yes, the $80 is per pair (front and rear).

I think Kevin is trying to say:

He's selling the OEM size KVR CF pads from the GB that GTBGUY had a little while back. I believe the reason is that he is because he's upgrading his OEM 2pots to 4pots. At least that's what my brain meager thinks

How about a trade for a Larry Ganz CAI? I won it on Subarureview.com. I can't use it on my car but it will work on yours. I will trade you for a set.

You are correct, SilverSurfer.

HIHO, who was your trade offer directed at? I didn't realize that Larry Ganz made a CAI for the WRX, not that I would use it if he did. I'm rather adult about mods like that, no offense to anyone. CAIs make more of a difference on an N/A car. They might matter on the WRX, but you'd have to figure out how to keep it away from the turbo, which is fanTAStically hot under normal operation.

They're still on the block, by the way. $150 for both sets...I can't believe nobody's snapped these up yet.

gtguy- Are they still for sale? I will buy one set once I get the Ganz intake sold. I am sure I will sell it fast to some RS owner. Your right it isn't made for the WRX, sorry. I hope to sell them in about a week.

Turns out I'm keeping the pads, everyone, thanks to GTBGUY, who has a 4-pot set in the works that will actually be light, vs the boat anchor-like Subaru 4-pots that, by all accounts, don't work a whole lot better than the stock WRX setup with uprated pads (which I happen to have).

I'm glad you guys were all so slow on the draw.
