To reset the ecu pull the negative battery cable and let the car sit for 1/2 hour, or pull the negative cable and step on the brake pedal. You really should have the code read, though. Post in your local forum and try to find someone local to you with an OBD2 scanner.

Thumbs down Air Intake

I also installed a Blitz Sus intake (stainless steel) and it kept popping up a cel. Reset the ecu three times. Been trying to get ahold of Blitz to find out if they have a fix. NO RESPONSE!!!

Anyone who reads this.....STAY AWAY FROM BLITZ!!!

MporTluvR, which direction do you have the harness wires facing when they come out of the sensor? Are they point towards the front of the car, or the rear? They should be pointed towards the front, and then the cables run to the rear. If they are pointing to the rear then you have the first pipe in backwards which usually causes a CEL right away because the sensor is essentially in backwards. The sensor has different size openings on either side and is only supposed to receive direct air flow into one of the sides. If it gets more air than it is expecting from the other side you'll get a CEL.

As a side note I've had my cel come on and go off 2x now since I've installed the AEM intake. The car didn't go into limp mode either time and the light shut off before I got a chance to scan for the code.

I've had the AEM on for months now with no problems what-so-ever. Go back and be sure everything is on tight, especially the MAF sensor...

I have heard of people having problems with the Blitz though...

I'm pretty sure that my CEL was unrelated to the intake. In both cases I was heading towards the exit in the same parking lot, going very slowly.

thanks guys for the help....i appreciate it alot......i reset the ecu.....and so far......the power feels stronger(like stock) and no CEL......soooooooo i hope everything is ok.......it turns out.....originally....i had the inner intake piece....facing the wrong direction.....which made the sensor face the wrong direction....and in turn would not let my car start....i was pretty pissed before i realized what mistake i had committed......and at one point......before i fixed that situation......i had my ignition turned completely forward with my MAF not plugged in at all....which threw the CEL........all in all im happy now....thanks to you guys oh yeah.....the turbo sounds soooooo kewl now.

thanks
