Default Hybrid wrx with a VF43

Just my car tuned a gain last night a Turbo XS. I was fairly pleased with the results. Jermaine did an amazing job with the tune but I was hoping for a little more power. The internal wastegate was not holding closed so I am going back when I fix this issue. I ended up with 315 whp and 335wtq. The car pulls a lot harder from the last turbo (modded td04 282whp, 307wtq)

Here's my mod list...
-Hybrid motor EJ257 with wrx heads
-TGV delete
-VF43
-STi topmount intercooler
-Stock bpv crushed (another limiting factor. I have the TurboXS racing BPV that I will be putting on ASAP)
-Tial 44mm external wastegate
-TurboXS Utec
-TurboXS external up pipe
-TurboXS mbc
-TurboXS short ram intake
-HKS down pipe
-Greddy EVO 2 cat back

The car sounds mean with the ext. wg. I have a video with the tune and some driving that I will post up along with the dyno plot when I get home from work.

Big thanks to Jermaine at TurboXS for doing a great job again and to the guys at Andrewtech for always taking care of me. They have been the biggest help with this little money pit of mine.

It needs to be rebuilt. I am sending it to deadbolt soon to have the work done. Lifetime rebuilds ftw! I know where you can get one though. If you are interested let me know. It is the ultimate autocross turbo.

Default question

I have a 06 WRX. I'm trying to get a hold of a VF39 or 43. Is it going to be necessary to upgrade the injectors or will the stock injectors do fine? I'm trying to save money so I can buy a new tranny.

^thread jacking... but to answer... stock injectors i think are like 550's so you'll be fine on a VF39-43

So you just left the internal gate disconnected and ran the external? That sucks that the internal gate was opening, I was really hoping to use a setup like this, with selectable internal / external gate operation.
