Angry Chipping...

Learn from my mistake....stay far back!
Drove up to Tremblant on Sunday in bad driving conditions...had to turn the radio up to full so I couldn't hear the rocks and sand hitting the body and windshield! What was on Saturday a nice clear windshield is now chipped and the hood...well, I am afraid to wash it to see what is underneath...I may have to give up skiing...

I use the clear film protection in my bumper, hood and top of roof. In Toronto there is a mobile installer called chipguard, it helps a lot.

check out www.chipguard.com

I drove between Bromont and St. Sauveur for 2 weeks in the Christmas season, just a stone chip on the windshield. Too much sand and rocks on the road.

Yeah, Subaru paint sucks!!! My car is now two tone (bare steel and midnight black). The windshield is really thin too. I've already gone through one of them and I have a chip in my second one. Fix the chip soon before it turns into a problem like my last windshield.

Default Subaru paint... the thinnest?

I bought my car w/ 6 tiny chips on the entire front end. I now have 45 & somehow I have a big nasty one on the middle of the roof. Nevermind, I know how I got that one now. All the chips from the front wheels back are solely due to my, um, practicing. It's part of living w/ winter in Canada. Good thing the paint is very easy to match, except for the green ones.

The two things everybody Subaru owner complains about worldwide, a weak tranny & the thinnest paint imagineable.

My paint is throughly road rashed front to back, upside down and backwards. Then again, rally crosses and navex rallies and going to spectate rallies down gravel roads will do that to you.
