Default Hybrid 1st Start Up

Well, the initial start up of our new hybrid was less than desirable. Rough idle, a knock that sounds like it's in the driver's side valve train. Thought it might be piston slap, but did not go away when warmed up. Also got a #1 misfire cel.

Here is my question. My friend who is a machinist made a set of fuel rails. But he made them so large that we have to use 1/2'" fuel line. The feed line is 5/16th. We are running Helix 820 injectors. Have a Walbro 255 fuel pump. At initial startup AFR was 13 but moved up to 16 at idle after 1 minute. So do you think we are starving the injectors with such a large diameter fuel lines in the engine bay and smaller feed and return lines?

We plan on switching #1 and #2 injectors tomorrow to see if the misfire will change. I also have a lightened flywheel which I have read will sometimes throw a misfire cel. As for the knock, probably will have to pull the engine and check the valve train. Will try and check it 1st with the valve cover off, but suspect an engine pull.

i doubt that the injectors are starved...my car idled like ***** when i first put it together but it was idling AFR's of 19+.. if you are at 16, it should idle fine.. i think you have something else wrong...
