Default Using ZTerm on my Mac to tune with UTEC...

Ok so here is the deal. I don't really want to go out and buy a cheap laptop to tune my UTEC when I have a brand new MacBook Pro here. Anyhow I bought a Keyspan USB to serial adapter which I know works for sure and I downloaded ZTerm which can be found here http://homepage.mac.com/dalverson/zterm/

Anyhow the only thing I am confused on right now is how I can do the text capture and text upload for the map and logging on the UTEC. I can't figure out a way to do that with ZTerm but it's easy on HyperTerminal but that is obviously only for Windows.

I'd sugjest using bootcamp and installing XP or Vista, then run Parallels or VMFusion while in OS X to run your Windows stuff. I'm currently running Vista on my Macbook without problems, I mean I've ran into a few issues but a simple search and I've been able to fix everything.

I wound not suggest that at all - Windows is not needed. Serial IO is trivial - install minicom - its free, open source, and will meet all your needs for the UTEC.

If you have any questions or need help let me know.
