Cool FS in PA: Old Alpine CDA-7940 passive tuner

Alpine CDA-7940. Passive unit, must have external amp to run.

You can see in the pics that I have the trim ring for it. However, in a Subaru, this is not used. It'll also come with the remote, the original owners' manual, a faceplate case, and it's already wired up (for my '00 RS, so whatever other Subies that'll fit).

Single CD player. Doesn't do CD-Rs very well - they work but take a while to load sometimes. Unit was made in I think 1998. Was one of Alpine's top-of-the-line at the time (they don't make many non-powered units).

Runs wonderfully, a few cosmetic scratches on the face but nothing worth writing home about. Pretty sure there's no ability to hook up an iPod or anything. Specs are here (page 71):

Best offer pretty much, buyer pays shipping. No PayPal. For someone looking for something cheap that plays real CDs very well, and can hook up to a CD changer, this'll work nicely.
