I know what you're talking about. I always get ready if I see another suby, but I rarely wave myself.

I usually wave if I see another WRX. Legacys and 2.5's - sorry u gets no love. LOL j/k

Strange how most of the time I dont get a wave back. Its like I was in a honda or something.

I think a lot of rex owners are just competitive people. I like to show luv to other drivers as part of the scooby community, but I think they're just wondering what mods I have or if they can beat me. So they dont wave back.

There aren't many Suby's here in Ocala so I wave at them all.

Same here. But the guy driving the WRX passing by was old and I don't think he really knew what was going on.

Yeah, while driving my RS people in WRX's/STi's usually look on without so much as a glance... THEY must not be SUBARU owners!!!

I get people in older Imprezas waving all the time, sometimes modded Loyales too.

What gives?

I'd feel weird waving... unless I knew them... but that's not many around here. Most Subie drivers around here don't even know what they drive.

I still wave sometimes, but not always. I guess it depends on the situation.

In southern ID we don't have a lot of wavers, most of them came north from CA or AZ and are complete and utter jerks. We do have one guy in an 06 STi that not only waves and flashes his lights, but also honks whenever he drives by our house... I think he's stalking me.

Not many WRX's in MI, but I wave to all of them. Plenty of WRX's and STi's in MD, but very rarely do I get a wave back. Sometimes I get the dumb stare, sometimes I get no reaction at all, but every now and then I do get a wave. The other day, I saw an old lady (curly white afro and all) driving a bugeye WRX sedan.

I waved to her.

I'd wave, but the only people I see driving them don't seem to be looking for other Subaru owners. They don't even look over so I could wave...
