i'm sometimes not ready cause many of the wrx/sti's i see/sppt don't even acknowledge me, let alone wave...like somehow they're too cool for school cause they drive a wrx/sti or they think i'm some kid who wants to race funny how that works seeing as how we all drive the same cars...

I'll wave if I know they can see me, the problem is I always get an odd look because they don't realize I'm in a Subaru too!

Not many waves in Phoenix... Mostly blank stares. Past week I've waved to 5 different Suby's and the only one that waved back was a guy in a SVX.

Your light/horn relay fluid must be low.

I get waves and I give waves/nods. Occasionally, you get a person who doesn't even know what kind of car they're driving and think they're so cool, rolling in a nice looking car.

I'll wave to most suby's and evos but thats about it. doesn't help that most people out here don't know what they have

I don't blip my lights because that could be mistaken for something else...like a signal to speed up or a road rage thing. But I will/do waive!

I usually wave to my fellow WRX drivers, however most of the time they look at me confused.

Anyone that throws out a deuce whether in a truck or not to a Subbie they should know that persons got/or had one themselves.

Now I have tossed it 2x to guys in STI & WRX this week and they were like HUH?? They were also desecrating the beasts by smoking in them.

i remember looking at my rear view mirror and saw a 08-09 wrx coming up. i slowed down a little to let him catch up so i can throw the peace sign. there was a lot of traffic so i only got a quick glance of it from the rear view. then i started seeing that same "wrx" creeping up besides me, so i turn around to get ready and raise my hand to throw the peace, as my hand was raised up HALF way, i realized it was a mazda3 and not the 08-09 wrx. i basically went "oh ****" and dropped my hand back down. got me laughing all the way home.

I've had my car for about 11 months now. Here in miami, there are not too many subaru's. You can count on one hand how many subaru's you see on the street per day.

I've received several waves and have waved back to all... It makes you appreciate the "fraternity" of being in the suby community. I wave to all the WRX's that I pass.

I equate the subie wave to the biker wave...annoying. That's my $.02 on it...

Always wave, the community is small enough here that almost everyone with a modded subie knows each other
